Fine product - these pens have been my favorite for about 20 years. A subtle thing - when I have one of these gliding across paper, the ideas just seem to flow. Not the case with ball points or mechanical pencils. A good fountain pen like a Parker comes close.

Downsides:
- water smudges the writing
- if you forget and leave the cap off, they dry out quickly
- cursive letters fill in - I've had secretaries complain that they couldn't tell my 'a' from 'e'

They changed the Flair :(

The grooves are gone at the grip.

Price increased for an inferior product.

Disappointing.

Will look for the old design.

After a thousand years why do a redesign of this gem of a pen now? It just goes to prove, 'Change is certain, progress is not'.
Very unfortunate when a long-term relationship comes to an end.
