Unfortunately, the clicker gives out before I think it should. (That's probably after a year's regular usage, though. I'd like it to last forever.) I will continue to purchase this pencil as long as it is available.

This is the second generation of this pencil. If you have Pentel .7mm refills purchased 3-4 years ago, the older leads are thinner and will slide through this model. The metal eraser holder still doesn't hold the eraser for very long either. If you try the newer Pentel Twister pencil, the eraser life and value are gone as soon as one erases a couple of lines, so I suggest using this older model PD347. Also, having the plastic eraser cap helps but doesn't stop the eraser from falling out and getting lost. Finally, this is still the best mechanical pencil I have found, even with its flaws. OD, WM and [...] so longer carry these, so I suggest buying them up before Staples stops carrying these as well.

The grip can get uncomfortable if you have to do a lot of writing, but this is still my favorite pen.
