Great but with a few flaws.....

Over all this is excellent for trips and easy to use. This connects to all audio players. Or at least with a 3.5mm jack built in. Mp3,ipods, and possibly Ipads.

There is a small fluke with this. Seems to me that if i turn the ipod down to low. This will cut off the signal or transmission of the signal. But to solve that, just turn up the sound and turn the unit off then on. It should come back on.

This connects to a cigarette lighter so about 98% of vehicles will be able to use this. This even works with those digital stereo systems. =D

Unfortunately, this product turns off repeatedly --I bought 2 of them and use them in different cars. Both have the same problem: it just turns off for no reason. After restarting it, it works fine. (for a while)

This is my forth and last try with an FM transmitter. I will admit I haven't been in a radio signal congested area yet but so far so good. It certainly performs better then the previous three as far as little to no static from FM bleed over. I really like the construction with the goose neck, much more convenient then the rigid style.

Did not work. Tried in 2 vehicles and with 2 different input devices. Would not hold an FM frequency. Would not broadcast for more than 2 minutes without display going berzerk and displaying garbage. Noisy signal (even with engine off). Would not recommend to anyone except to test Staples' return policy (which works very well, thank you!).

I'm not sure if this had to get charged up but the first time I used it I didn't think I would keep it. It cut in and out. Every time after that it has worked fine. I had a cassette adaptor but it was noisy. A long time ago I had a radio transmitter powered by 2 AAA batteries with only 4 frequencies. It wasn't powerful enough to overcome radio interference. So far this one has worked pretty well. I get a little static every now and then, but for using radio technology, I think it's understandable. It's nice that you can leave it connected in the car.
