Looked around at various places and then came to Staples. We sat in many chairs but the minute my husband and I sat in this chair we knew this was the one for us. It was very comfortable and we liked the looks of it too. The salesman was very helpful in answering our questions regarding the chair. After looking at a few more and sampling the chairs we always went back to this one and decided to purchase it. We asked about the assembly and the salesman told us what he felt about us assembling it. We decided to have Staples do it for only $9.99 and we weren't in a big hurry so they assembled it and called us and we picked it up the next day. Very nice experience at Staples.

Nice looking item but disappointing in assembly. All the arm attachment screws had difficulty attaching and securing. One of them would not go in all the way and locked up. Had to cut screw...Read complete review

Nice looking item but disappointing in assembly. All the arm attachment screws had difficulty attaching and securing. One of them would not go in all the way and locked up. Had to cut screw as the hole it was screwing in to was blocked within the inside of the chair. Since this was the last screw I worked with and almost all the chair was assembled I didn't feel like lugging it back to the store so I trimmed the screw to make it shorter and work.

Although modern looking and what I wanted in design it lacks quality and if it wasn't already together and not such a bother I would have returned it.

The difference between a good and a bad chair can be the difference between a good and a bad day. I love my new chair! No more creaks or worries about leaning back and feeling that I'm about to fall right over. This chair is comfortable, stylish, well constructed, and worked well into my budget, especially with the Staples online coupon I received the day before my purchase.     I was sitting in various chairs on the showroom floor trying to find one I would be comfortable in. When I sat in the Bresser model I knew I had found the right one. The lumbar support is excellent. I have had back problems for years so just imagine how happy I was to find this chair. I have discovered it distributes my weight to the back of my thighs instead of using my spine. It was simple to put together though I must say after putting four together, my fingers were aching from using the allen wrench. Yes, I bought four chairs and I'm using them in my dinette!

            There is a lever under the seat. You can see the lever in the picture. Pull up on the lever to raise the seat. Push the lever down to lower the seat.
