          This is my first 3" wide dispenser, normally I use a cheap 2" wide dispenser. Compared to the 2" cheapie this unit is heavy and a little unwieldy, but it dispenses tape just fine and for my occasional use it gets the job done.

          Without tape, my 2" wide dispenser is 285g/10oz and this 3" wide dispenser is 645g/1lb7oz, more than twice as heavy.

              A:

              Unfortunately, directions are not included with this product. To load the tape, you would place your roll on the 3 prong white plastic wheel. To the left of that wheel, there is a black roller you feed the tape through the black roller, and the guard is used to help keep the tape from tangling up.

              This is for tape with a 3" core.

              Yes, this dispenser will work with 2" wide tape. However it's much heavier than a typical 2" wide dispenser so you wouldn't want to do this for long. Without tape, my 2" wide dispenser is 285g/10oz and this 3" wide dispenser is 645g/1lb7oz, more than twice as heavy.
