These folders are simply amazing. You put them in the file cabinet, put paper documents in them, and they don't run away. They stay put. You can even label the folders, as they will accept a multitude of writing utensiles, pens, marker, even pencil. If I didn't have these special folders from Staples to keep my papers organized, I probably would have burned my file cabinet all together. I feel honored that they asked me to review such a fantastic, usefull, and complex item for their website.

These file folders suck.

These file folders are an embarrassment to the Staples brand. They are made of shoddy, manila-colored construction paper. The paper is so flimsy that the paper rollers imprinted vertical lines on the outsides of the folders, so that they look like they've been folded and bent. The tabs are so poorly cut that tiny pieces of manila remain stuck on the tabs. 100% satisfaction guarantee? You better believe I'm taking them up on their offer to refund my money. There is over 20 inches of snow on the ground outside, but that's not going to stop me from walking these folders straight back to Staples tomorrow morning. Staples should be ashamed of itself for trying to sell trash.

If you are just using the folder for long term storage its ok. If you plan on actively using it go buy the heavy duty version.

They're perfect and economical for filing and sorting documents into accordian folders, larger files and/or filing drawers and cabinets. The fact that the folders have 1/3 cut tabs in assorted positions makes it even easier to organize documents. The tabs are also large enough for detailed labeling if needed. However, for some they may not be durable enough since they're not waterproof.
