Q: So while assembling the chair I made a mistake and forgot to place the black cylindrical extension on top of the circular steel base tip when attaching to the chair.. Now I can't rotate the chair or adjust the height. I tried disassembling to remove the tip (w/o the cylindrical extension) from the chair base to no avail. It really seems stuck in there. Please advise how to disassemble/separate the extension from the chair base. Thank you. Asked on 1/20/2013 by Anonymous Know the answer? Q: Which hole do I put the base into? The one under the height adjuster or the one under the tilt adjuster? The picture looks like you put it into the tilt adjuster but it wont attach, it does attach under the height adjuster but attached that way the tilt will not work. Q: So I bought this chair and want to know how to adjust the chair to lean more forward or back? Asked on 10/2/2012 by kitkat from Long Beach, United States Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: This chair does not have the ability to lean forward and back. There is tilt tension on a knob below the seat which may make sitting more comfortable for your weight, but you cannot position the chair in different angles. Q: Faulty "Tilt Lock"? I purchased this chair a few weeks ago, and I am loving it, except for the fact that the tilt lock seems to randomly "disengage" during normal use. Apart from a very loud noise, the sensation of falling over backwards, and the occasional spillage of hot coffee, it's not a major issue, but I'm wondering if this is a common occurrence? Or perhaps I just have a faulty model? Also, I am well below the stated weight limit for the chair. Thanks. Asked on 7/26/2012 by CJ Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Not a common occurrence. You should either contact your local Staples store or call customer service at (800) 333-3330 for assistance in resolving your issue with this chair. Q: how do you adjust the lumbar support - i bought the chair off the floor and it was assembled but didn't come with any paperwork. I figured out the up and down and tilt but don't know what the other knob is for. Asked on 5/25/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The lumbar support in this chair is not adjustable. The other lever you see is likely the tilt tension and tilt lock lever. Q: I purchased this chair as a floor model, but didn't receive any paperwork on it. I'm trying to figure out the center tilt, among other things. Is there anywhere I can get the instructions? Asked on 5/3/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer Q: Hello, Has anyone had an issue installing the wheels? They do not go on for me. The instructions indicate you just push them down, but they will not go in. Are you supposed to remove the metal ring near the top? Thanks! Asked on 3/14/2012 by Jim B. Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: I apologize, you inquiry would be best handled by our Staples brand product support team. They would be happy to assist you, you may reach them at (800) 425-0049. Answered on 3/15/2012 by Kayla T. from Staples A: The casters (wheels) on the Osgood Bonded Leather Managers Mid-Back Chair are hard to insert, they do take a lot of pressure. Do not remove the metal ring, it is what keeps the casters in the legs. Answered on 3/16/2012 by Community Answer from None
