    The sheets work great and don't make a mess. I think they are rather expensive, but for our office feeding one through once every 4-6 weeks is sufficient. If we had high shredding volume and an office boy, I'd get the boy to use the lube in a bottle - myself, I'd rather not touch the stuff.

    These do work great but are at a premium price. One bottle of the Staples shredder oil lasts a long time. I pour a streak of the oil on a paper to be shredded and it does the trick while shredding the paper. Haven't had a shredder jam since I found the stuff. It is a tiny bit messy if you don't wipe off the bottle after pouring.

          This product is needed to mainatin the shredder. You basically have no choice and must purchase the sheets to get the best use out of the shredder. We are going through these sheets rather quickly. We may need to use another type of lubrication.
