Strong as ever!

I bought these clips to bookmark pages in my son's school workbooks (He is home schooled). There are about 20 pages in the table of contents and introductions of each book and I wanted to paper-clip them all together so I could easily flip to the next page needed in our lessons. I remembered my Daddy using these little black clips with "wings" on them to hold small stacks of paper together.[...] Of course, I assumed that some 20-or-more years after I last remember Dad using them, they would now be made cheaply and wouldn't really work. I honestly thought they would fall apart. But they are very strong and do the trick! I have used them for so many things throughout the house and I've bought and used every size. It's nice to know that even now when it seems everything is cheaply manufactured and anything with a decent pricetag also comes with shoddy performance, Staples continues to turn out great products at a price I can afford. I'm not shopping at [...] for my office supplies ever again. Thank you Staples!

This product pro is limited to its use. Otherwise, I wouldn't buy it. These clips rust after about 6 months especially when you use them to clip files of papers that you might not use for a while, when you find them again, the clips have rusted on the paper, and you can't get the clip off the paper without tearing it. I have looked at other store for clips and they are pretty much the same thing, so now I have decided to store all my files electronically so that I can have them after 6 months without the rust marks.

Binder clips - so basic and yet so versatile. I hang calendars with them, use them as little photo stands (upside down), one as a clip-on key ring to keep my mailbox key handy. Another binder-clip/magnet combo keeps a pen secretly hidden away in the office copy room. I could go on and on.

I actually used these clips to hold together glued cloth as a clamp. I was making miniture sand bags for my grandsons 1/24 scale RC tank.
I filled the bags with sand and then applied glue to the opening and used thes clips to hold the opening closed till the glue set. Worked great.

Previously, you stocked clips having plastic or rubberized coatings on the levers. These were far superior, as they were much easier to hold clip open by increasing the grip stability of fingers. Hope you can re-stock those clips.
