This was bought to replace another auto sharpener that broke. This one works much better than the last sharpening many pencils quickly and without overheating like the previous one we used. It is easy to clean and quiet, although those weren't the main reasons why I bought it.

This is a great pencil sharpener for a middle school math classroom. The only negative thing about it is that it overheats and you have to let it cool down.

This simple sharpener does not do the job, and at the price, both the manufacturer and the retailer should be ashamed. I am sorry I kept it past the return date.... Save yourself the money and the buyer's remorse and get something else.

We have had this pencil sharpener in our Kindergarten room for a month now. It seems sturdy and has caused us no problems so far.

The internal microswitch is of low quality and not made to be replaced. Now the unit is dead. You'd be better off buying a less expensive product and replacing it when it dies.

Besides, kids all use mechanical pencils nowadays anyway.
