This standard carry case from Philips is made of semirigid materials and covered in durable red CORDURA. The case comes equipped with a pair of paramedic scissors and can accommodate one spare pad cartridge and a spare battery pack.

Children under eight years or weighing less than 55 lbs. (25 kg), including infants, should be treated using this Philips HeartStart infant/child SMART pad cartridge. This pad instructs the defibrillator to reduce the energy of its shock from 150 to 50 joules (J).
