What Does Presentation Paper Weight Mean?

Grammage shows the weight of a single sheet of paper 1 square meter in size and many commonly express it in units of grams per square meter (gsm).

Grammage is the more reliable measurement because the size of uncut pages varies depending on the final sheet size. For example, bond paper and cover paper with the same basis weight have different thicknesses because the uncut page sizes are not the same.
