A 300W Adesso-patented double-socket construction allows for two criss-crossed sockets, each holding a 150W incandescent bulb or equivalent CFL, which provides approximately three times more light than a typical torchiere using a 150W three-way bulb, and illuminates an entire room. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the pole to adjust the brightness. Bulbs are not included.
