The Ambir ImageScan Pro 490i (DS490-AS) is a compact, USB-powered duplex scanner designed for fast and efficient scanning of documents, ID cards, and laminated materials. With an optical resolution of up to 600 dpi, it delivers sharp, high-quality images in color, grayscale, or black and white. Its duplex capability allows simultaneous scanning of both sides in a single pass, making it ideal for high-volume environments such as healthcare, banking, and retail. The scanner supports media up to 8.5" × 14" and thickness up to 1 mm, including embossed cards. Featuring TWAIN and WIA drivers, OCR functionality, and cloud integration via AmbirScan software, it offers seamless compatibility and productivity.
