Acoustical ceiling tile with a smooth visual featuring great sound absorption and sound blocking properties.
The Armstrong ULTIMA tegular tile is a smooth visual ceiling with the sound absorption and blocking needed for today's flexible spaces. The tegular ceiling tile has a small lip or "tegula" that allows it to be suspended slightly below the ceiling grid, creating a more seamless appearance.
- 15/16" beveled tegular ceiling tile offers a smooth visual with the sound absorption and blocking needed for today's flexible spaces
- Tile size: 24" x 72"
- Thickness: 0.75"
- Noise reduction coefficient (NRC): 0.75; sound blocking (CAC): 35
- BioBlock treatment inhibits growth of mold and mildew on the tile surface
- Fire performance: Class A (UL)
- HumiGuard Plus offers sag and humidity resistance; recommended for areas subject to high humidity up to (but not including) standing water and outdoor applications
- Made of wet-formed mineral fiber with DuraBrite acoustically transparent membrane in a factory-applied white latex paint
- Washable, impact-, scratch-, and soil-resistant
- Nondirectional visual reduces scrap and installation time
- Compatible with TechZone ceiling systems
- Part of the brand's SUSTAIN portfolio, the tile meets the industry sustainability compliance standards
- Typical applications: offices (closed spaces for privacy and confidentiality; open spaces for focus, collaboration, and teaming), classrooms, corridors, lobbies/reception areas, etc.
