These products protect the pens themselves and do not protect users or others from disease causing bacteria, viruses or germs. Along with the antimicrobial agent on the pen, the classic style BIC Clic Stic pen features a medium ballpoint which evenly spreads ink as you write and creates vivid, highly visible lines ideal for note-taking, drafting, doodling, and other writing activities. The flexible round barrel fits comfortably in your hand with an attached break resistant pocket clip, so you can secure the pen to your clothing to keep it close by.

BIC PrevaGuard Clic Stic retractable ballpoint pen contains an antimicrobial agent incorporated into the plastic that protects the pen itself by suppressing the growth of bacteria, algae, fungus and mildew. The antimicrobial agent includes various elements, such as Zinc. These products protect the pens themselves and do not protect users or others from disease causing bacteria, viruses or germs. In addition to suppressing bacteria like molds, mildew and fungi on the pen, the antimicrobial agent enhances product freshness, and fights product degradation. The antimicrobial agent should last the lifetime of the pen’s plastic unless the plastic is destroyed.
