It's metal-utensil safe thanks to the laser-etched network of ridges raised above the non-stick surface across the saucepan. The saucepan uses 3-ply construction including an aluminum core sandwiched by stainless steel for durability and fast, even heating. It features an induction-ready base and is compatible with any stovetop including gas, electric, induction, and infrared.
