For those of you nerdy enough to know better, our paper is 90lb/185gsm (which means the pre-cut “ream” of full-size sheets weighs 90 pounds and a single sheet of one square meter weighs 185 grams). All of this just means Canson XL watercolor paper has good absorbency and strength. So, go at it with bright colors, gradients, and detailed strokes, and even mix things up with gouache or acrylic paint for a mixed media effect.
