All of this just means Canson XL watercolor paper has good absorbency and strength. So, go at it with bright colors, gradients, and detailed strokes, and even mix things up with gouache or acrylic paint for a mixed media effect. The Canson XL Series was created with students and teachers in mind – affordable, high-sheet count options with an intermediate-level performance sufficient for technical practice and showcases.
