The porcelain writing surface has an additive of micro silver particles slowly released over the lifetime of the product and eliminates bacteria and viruses within 24 hours of contact. Silver is used in various applications across industries as it is known to keep surfaces clean and sanitary, and this board is no exception. The porcelain-on-steel writing surface is laminated to a hardboard backer and framed with anodized aluminum with mitered corners for added strength and durability. SmartPak tray is detached for reduced damage during shipping and easier installation. All Ghent whiteboards are shipped to you in worry-free packaging designed specifically for shipping whiteboards.
