A digital proximity alert notifies you if you leave the pen behind. Windows 10 is required on the paired device; control panel software only works when the pen is used with the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3/G4, HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5/G6, HP Elite x2 G4, HP Elite x2 1013 G3, and HP ZBook Studio x360 G5. Bluetooth pairing, software programming, and the digital proximity alert are only supported on the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3/G4, HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5/G6, HP Elite x2 G4, HP Elite x2 1013 G3, and HP ZBook Studio.
