The ideal. 2445 super micro-cut P-7 is a convenient and powerful deskside shredder, the 2445 is designed for shredding classified and top-secret documents, such as documents involving Communications Security (COMSEC), Secure Compartmentalized Information (SCI), and Special Access Programs (SAP).
The ideal 2445 super micro-cut paper shredder is a Deskside shredder designed for 2-3 users and Shreds 5-7 sheets of paper at a time, with up to 107 sheets per minute

- Shreds 5-7 sheets of paper at a time with a wide 9.5 opening and a 9-gallon, impact-resistant plastic shred bin
- Super micro-cut P-7 security level is HIPAA and FACTA compliant, certified to shred Personal Identifiable Information (PII), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), classified and top-secret documents, Communications Security (COMSEC), Secure Compartmentalized Information (SCI), and Special Access Programs (SAP), and federally accepted to protect information and social security numbers against identity theft
- Easy Switch indicates operational status with optical indicators provides easy operation
- Safety Protection System includes electronically-controlled patented safety shield protects fingers and hands, automatic stop when the cabinet is open, and integrated photo cell that automatically starts and stops shredding
- Includes a 1-year limited warranty on cutting shafts and wheels and a 1-year limited warranty on all other parts excluding wearables

A patented, transparent safety shield in the feed opening protects fingers and hands. A 1/2 horsepower motor chews through 7 sheets of paper at once and up to 107 sheets of paper per minute. German engineering and manufacturing ensure superior quality that will provide many years of trouble-free operation.
