With no software installation required, the scanner is simple to set up and can be used directly out of the box, making it ideal for small office / home office and small business use. The R30 scanner is easy to set up and conveniently allows users to start scanning almost immediately. Connect the scanner to a Windows or Mac computer using the supplied USB cable to begin using the software built into the R30, Canon CaptureOnTouch Lite. This “Plug-and-Scan” capability allows users to begin scanning without having to install software onto a computer from a CD or via download. CaptureOnTouch Lite makes it simple to scan individual or mixed batches of documents, such as invoices, business cards, IDs, postcards, and almost any other document you may wish to convert to electronic format to store or share. Both sides of the document can be scanned in a single pass at the same time, and the automatic feeder will hold up to 60 sheets, eliminating the need to feed items one-by-one. The imageFORMULA R30 scanner comes with a one-year limited warranty for advanced exchange service.
