The pack that started it all back in 1982. The L.L.Bean Original Book Pack, our very first pack, is as tough as ever--built to the highest standards with strong stitching & weatherproof fabrics to stand up to active kids.
It all began with a simple request. A law student wrote us a letter asking if L.L.Bean could create an all-purpose bag to carry books & more. More than four decades later, our now-legendary Original pack is still going strong. Built to outlast the school year (and beyond), this rugged school pack has always had their back.
