About this product
Polycrayon Soft square pastels offer unparalleled versatility, perfect for both precise line work and bold, even strokes when used on their side
Their vibrant pigments deliver strong, luminous color that smudges beautifully and can be easily lifted with a kneaded eraser. With minimal binder, these pastels maintain the purity and brilliance of their color, especially when used on textured paper, and can be secured with a light fixative for lasting vibrancy. Having spent over 200 years providing quality products to artists, schools & offices all over the world, the historic LYRA brand — founded by Johann Froescheis in Nuremberg in 1806 — is one of the oldest pencil companies in the world. Synonymous with innovation & quintessential German quality, Lyra is a well-respected name all over the world. Ever since it produced its first pencils, Lyra has stuck to strict rules to ensure the utmost quality — from the selection of raw materials right through to the manufacturing process.
- BETTER PRECISION WITH SQUARE SHAPE— Unlike traditional round pastels, square pastels feature edges suited to drawing fine lines & consistently wide lines when used as a block
- VIBRANT, BUTTERY SMOOTH COLORS—Enjoy premium soft pastels with thick, rich, opaque color placement that effortlessly glides across the surface
- 12 Pastels
- SEAMLESSLY BLEND FOR GORGEOUS GRADIENTS—Simply use your finger to blend colors together or use blending sticks, stumps & tortillons
- LONG LASTING, ARCHIVAL COLOR—Lightfast pigment means your art will avoid yellowing over time & can be displayed proudly, even in the sun
- MADE IN GERMANY – Since 1806, Lyra has been a product of talent, vision, creativity and performance, requiring the best tools for artists and professionals to enjoy for years to come
