It is anti-microbially treated for lifetime protection from odors and degradation. It is grease and oil resistant as well as chemical resistant, and can be used in wet or dry areas. The beveled edges provide a safe transition from the floor to the mat, and the mat is certified high-traction by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI).
