It only lasted a year. Not overly impressed. I don't know if I would buy another brother printer.

Incorrect item in Box
We ordered a 630 and while the box said 630 after opening to put into printer it would not work. Item number on the toner is 660. Now of course it is too late to return.

Better Price Online Than In Store
Staples online has the toner listed for $67.99. Since I needed it right away I headed to my local Staples. The local store had it listed for $79.99. Why? I had to show the cashier at the local store the online price. I learned my lesson. I will only buy online.

Authentic Brother Laser Printer parts gotten quickly
This Brother Drum unit was super simple to swap out. I didn't know if was the correct one or not but I trusted the Staples associate who got it for me. I was almost identical to the old one except the new one had a green fuser drum and on the old one the drum looked dirty. I did have to order it from another store but it arrived at my store over a weekend! Easy Peasy.

Last a while!
The drum did last to around 11,000 pages before it started saying I needed a new one. I have had this printer for about 3 years now. So I think that was a pretty good run!

no work no returns
Brother printer had message to replace drum bought a new drum at staples. replaced drum same message. tried to return drum to staples and store mgr in Shawnee Ok would not take drum back for refund or store credit.No way and he said the box was opened. Staples receipt says they will not refund anything if they do not feel like it. Buyer beware.

Arrived in good condition and on time
I bought the cartridge because the printer would not turn on. It's a Brother MFC-L2740DW and I thought the problem was the toner. Apparently it is not a problem with the toner. I was using it as a stand alone printer. The problem started when I attached it to an older Dell computer and noe it just won't turn on. I don't think I can blame it on the new toner cartridge.
