NOT REAL WOOD!
I read the product description, specifications, and at least 20 reviews here before ordering. The description says "made of laminated wood" and "cleated back". It is actually just a piece of what is essentially vinyl flooring. IT IS NOT REAL WOOD. And I would not call the back "cleated" or "rubber". Delivery Ticket on Mat
The mat is fine but Staples put the delivery ticket on the mat and now it has left residue and is difficult to get off. Make sure to have Goo Gone ready if you have this item delivered to you.

Not very pliable or flexible
First, it was shipped to me by placing a shipping label on the mat itself and then shipping it out as-is! Not in a box, bag, but unprotected. It arrived folded in half, and I am still trying to get it to flatten out completely, as it is not very flexible and pliable. It would have been much better if it had been rolled up and put in a box to ship it.

Solved my problem
Needed a mat to allow me to roll over the edge of a rug on top of a carpet under my desk. This solved it perfectly. It looks nice, is excellent quality, and was a decent price. And to top it off, it arrived the day after I ordered it! I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a smooth surface in their office.

Good chair mat
This piece works well and is sized as stated. It was delivered in a strange way though, I found it on my front steps in a heap. It was not rolled up and taped, nor in a box. Just a shipping label slapped on the product label. so that was a bit of a bummer. But otherwise, I'm happy with the purchase.

Hard Floor Chair Mat
It is a beautiful Mat, yet it rolls all over the hardwood floor. It does not stay in place. I am a little dissatisfied with it because I have to keep putting it back in place.

Constructed well - has a flat bottom without the gripping nubs that will cause an ordinary plastic mat to crack and deteriorate quickly. Worth the additional cost

Looks great in office!
Looks nice and is very easy to clean. Chair moves smoothly on mat. It does slip a little but if you can put a small section of it under the corner of your desk it will not move. So far, I'm very happy with this purchase.
