Ink cartridges do not use all the ink.
I purchased an HP Officejet Pro 6830 May 5, 2016. The black ink cartridge that came with the printer quit after a short period of time but it still showed ink was available. Damaged; nobody to contact at HP! Terrible
I bought this cartridge direct from HP. After installing it I got a message that the cartridge is damaged. I called HP; that was a terrible experience. The rep wanted 20 minutes to diagnose my printer! No! I said I want an exchange for a new, working cartridge as there’s nothing wrong with my printer. Disappointed

I was unable to find yellow ink at my local big box store so I went online to HP and ordered two cartridges. I’m so glad I did because they arrived promptly and were no more expensive than what I paid at the store.

Bundle that does what I need
Even with home use only it makes for smooth transition to new ink and ability to order new before a problem develops.
