Ink cartridges do not use all the ink.
I purchased an HP Officejet Pro 6830 May 5, 2016. The black ink cartridge that came with the printer quit after a short period of time but it still showed ink was available. Pull tab is a miss
Orange pull tab never comes off correctly so it removes the titles label also.

Recognition errors are confusing, especially when the cartridge randomly stops printing. I apologize you endured this occurrence.
Resetting the printer and cartridge sometimes resolves this problem.
Reverting to a previous version of firmware is a potential solution.

6230 Printer Cartridges Brilliance?
YEL 935XL cartridge used in HP Offc. Jet. Pro 6230 Prints cleanly on std. 20# paper. Need to purchase HP recommended inkjet paper (we just moved cross country) and have not filled our laundry-list of various "staples" we need to setup shop. One third of the ink needed
Colored ink low in my printer, esp magenta. Went to two Staples stores intending to buy the tri-color pack. First store had only black which I did
not need. Second store had only Magenta XL and the Yellow XL. Bought just the magenta. Ordered tri-color pack from diff retailer

Availability
All three colors are rarely available at the same time. I would prefer to by all three in a combo pack rather than having to have three separate orders in order to get them all.

Disappointed although Staples service was great!
The ink did not work in my printer that I bought from Staples 2 years ago. It only prints black and pink and red. Sorry I honestly can't give a review.

The product is fine. But, why are the other 935 colors not available at the Staples store in Goodyear, AZ. Very disappointing to not be able to purchase all the colors. You need to stock your stores better!

Good quality - but expensive
RE HP vs Off brand ink - I have tried the off brand inks for my HP printer resulting in a mess on my desk, discolored hands and a permanent stain on my carpet -- not to mention the poor printing performance. The increased cost pales in comparison to the inconvenience.
