Ink cartridges do not use all the ink.
I purchased an HP Officejet Pro 6830 May 5, 2016. The black ink cartridge that came with the printer quit after a short period of time but it still showed ink was available. I replaced it with a 934 xl and it worked. Then the color cartridges quit printing but still showed ink available. Now the 934xl has quit printing and still shows ink is available.
