VERY DISAPPOINTED
If you are looking for a mat that will have a stable surface over a deep pile carpet, I highly suggest that you look somewhere else because after much time studying the catalog Staples offers, this was the best I could identify and it is inadequate.

It's even thinner in real life, than the pics look online. It came in coiled up like a fan, when instructions were clearly stated to DO NOT BEND. (Staples asked for special instructions)

Low price, low quality
Ordered this chair mat for my new office. I was looking for something that would work that would be low in price. My wheeled chair makes indentions in the mat making it hard to roll out of. Great Value
Easy to lay down on our low, flat outdoor carpet in lanai. Not too heavy. Last one I had lasted years of everyday use. I got the one with the under chair tab portion, so that I can turn it around if one end gets used more, etc.

Good but could be thicker
The mat is doing its job, but it could be thicker; it bends under the rolling office chair legs, and I am not sure how long it will hold before cracking thru.

Carpet chair mat
The mat is about the same thickness as what I previously had. It tends to indent as I roll across it. I will have to remember to order a thicker mat next time. My last mat eventually cracked and I will be throwing it out. I don't expect much from the new one this review is on. My carpet is a short pile carpet.

Waste of money
This was totally not what I expected. The mat is too soft and the chair wheels sinks into the carpet. Chair still won't move or roll! Look for a better item!!!
