VERY DISAPPOINTED
If you are looking for a mat that will have a stable surface over a deep pile carpet, I highly suggest that you look somewhere else because after much time studying the catalog Staples offers, this was the best I could identify and it is inadequate.

Looks good, BUT!!!
Mat is perfect size, however, the material is too thin and soft. I weigh about 180 lbs. and my chair is a basic office chair. Makes huge dents under each caster wheel. Time will only tell how long this mat will last.

Just What I Needed
I live in an apartment with new carpeting, I have 2 roller chairs which can run havoc on the surface of the carpet. This floor mat is working out so well, the transparency is excellent (I've forgotten it's there), my chair rolls easily over the surface and I am confident there is no damage to the rug.

descent chair mat
This chair mat is pretty good quality for the $$. I haven't had it very long but it does have a wee bit of indentation where the chair rollers sit on it.
I loved the delivery though, it was delivered flat not rolled up!!

Be sure you know your carpet pile height
This would have been great if my carpet pile was thinner. I am going to order one for a thicker carpet. Plus my husband is over 200 pounds so that is another issue.

Great mat
Love the mat. Took a minute to get it unrolled and where I wanted to put it. Got the mat about one week ago. One corner will not lie flat. Luckily, that corner isn't where it will bother me.
