Worked great
This Imaging unit fixed the print quality issues I was having with my Lexmark printer. I no longer have vertical lines running down the pages.

Does not fit MX312
Staples refers you to this imaging unit. it does not fit the MX312. Bought in April, just installed. Probably not returnable.

Made a LOT of noise
The first one made so much noise that I requested a replacement. The replacement was quiet for the first few days, but has started making noise also.
