Not enough height for A-Z partition cards
I bought one of those sets of partition cards labelled A through Z with tabs on them. The tabs hit the lid of the box if the partitions are vertical. What were they thinking??????

A nice experience overall
I bought three plastic 4x6 index card boxes and cards for a personal project. My local Staples store had what I needed. It was nice to see and touch the actual product and compare between size options. It feels good to leave with a task done with exactly what I needed.

When journaling became insufficient to categorize plants for landscape design, I turned to filing method that will allow tabletop grouping
for sun exposure and soil that can then be visualized in graph paper layout. Heavyweight index cards lined on one side for essential planting needs and unlined on back to update growth in aspect with opportunity to revise.

It will serve the purpose. It’s just going to sit on my desk and hold ham radio cards. On another order, you all had made my cards with all my information about my radio and equipment. Great service.

Handy 4x6 file
I needed to separate my go-to recipes from my 50 year collection. Went through all of the cards - tossed a few - pulled out ones I use frequently - ended up with a nice subset of the bigger picture. It's SO nice to be able to go right to the ones I frequently use.

Poor quality
This little box is made of poor quality and it doesn’t stay closed with or without anything inside. I have to use a rubber band to keep it shut.

Cheaply made, Disfunctional
I have other file boxes that are of thicker plastic but not in the 4x6 size I need. This box is made with thin plastic, and the lid is sure to break off after a short time of use. Also, when you put alphabet dividers in it, the lid won’t close!

I use these all over my office. They integrate well with the clear containers we also use. A box on the shelf, in a drawer, or in a cabinet can be an amazing organizational strategy.

This box has very sharp edges and it does not stay closed. Very annoying. You have to use mineral spirits to get the label off.

I used to use 3”x5” file box. I found the 4x6 file control box is much better. Due to the large information I recommend this file box to friends.
