Easy to order and received quickly!
It was easy to order my replacement toner and I received it quickly. I like that I can recycle my old cartridges.

very dissappointing
I bought this printer to avoid high priced color inks, this claims 1500 pages, but have not even printed 500 yet and its telling me to replace already. Very disappointing,

Outstanding value!
I bought one of these a month ago, via HP'S online store... very impressive feedback on progress of the rapid delivery... most impressive and convenient return process for return of spent cartridge--free, no muss, no fuss easy! Only ding was an HP nag dialog that whined for a while that the new cartridge was not "genuine"!?!?

Black Toner Not Lasting Long Enough
I have purchased HP black toner 83X three times. I was upsold in that it is supposed to provide more copies than the regular toner. I am not finding that it is lasting longer. An expensive disappointment at Staples, where upselling is their second nature.

HP 83X toner package is an extended range product. So, I print a lot of pages (I don’t count) and don’t need to change the cartridge as often as I would if i used the standard product.

inkjet cartridge
I have HP inkjet printers and wont use anything but name brand HP. Whit that said the prices for these are still on the high side, I expect it with buying name brand but still pricey.

I always get the X extra. It is money and time saved.
Great ink cartridge. I use a lot of ink and this gives me that extra edge so I am changing cartridges every 5 minutes.

Toner Quality
I have purchased HP toner almost exclusively for several years. The last 3-4 times I purchased this toner we were only able to use the cartridge partially. Not sure why they are not working properly but I have switched to Quill brand toner in hopes of getting our monies worth.

Toner is all the same price. Looked at the H/P site as I wanted new and not refill. The only way that I could purchase from them would be to pay a Sales Tax of about $9.00 and we do not have a Sales Tax in Oregon.Staples has been a good consistent supplier and they do not charge the tax.

Big problems
I got this for my HP MFP M127fw and it didn't fit! My printer normally takes an 83A and this was supposed to go in this printer, but it was molded so it would not go in. I found this out too late for a refund, so I was out the cost from HP. BEWARE!!

What else would you expect?
It’s made to fit the printer and has the manufacturer’s name on it. So, of course, it works right . . . it, also, is over priced.
