This is my first Mobile Cannon Scanner
it was easy to set up and I have used it three times only because it was just purchased. copy's are clear and sharp. I have a old IRIS Scanner that I replaced with this Cannon, I hope it gives me the same good results. thanks Tom. H

It only worked once
I bought this scanner a few months ago and it worked great... once. Since then I haven't been able to get it to work. There seems to be a problem with the driver, my laptop won't pick up that the scanner is there. I have downloaded the most recent driver, uninstalled, installed, to no avail. Too bad it seemed like a nice scanner when it worked.

Nice little scanner
This machine works well for my needs. I scan ~20 documents per week. Its nice to have a small machine on my desk that folds up and out of the way. It scans at a decent clip, double sided, of good quality. The driver software is nice simple too.

P-215 Connection Issues
I loved my P-215 and used it only intermittently for many years. WIthout a change in my laptop, OS, etc, over the years it became harder and harder to get the scanner to connect to its software. Now it just sits collecting dust while my scanning pile (mostly bills just grows. Hesitant to get another because of the issue. Hoping to hear from Canon.

TERRIBLE!
Pulls many pages, sometimes huge wadd, at a time, jams, changes to incorrect orientation on it's own, and inserts imaginary blank pages that aren't in the documents your scanning. With all these problems the "speed" of 15 ppm amounts to maybe 1 ppm at best! Was also a pain to set up on the Mac, had to download drivers many times before they worked at all! The Canon USA ...

Fantastic but missing 1 thing
This scanner is fantastic. My only problem with it and why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I try to can a long receipt, it stops scanning it towards the end and says it's a paper jam. That's the only thing I would change. Otherwise it scans documents great and they are very legible. They can be scanned in black and white or in color. It's very easy to...

Not what I expected.
Just installed and already have issues. Scanner pulls multiple pages at a time, so if you dont watch out, your pages will not all be scanned.

I never received it and it says it was signed by a TTIM, which makes no sense, nor do I have any employees with those initials. Also, we were in the office until 5:30 that evening with no deliveries.

This is my 2nd Canon scanner.
The other one works great but it doesn't feed automatically and doesn't do 2-sided scan. This one is small enough to take with me, feeds the docs automatically, and scans front and back. The speed is reasonably fast, too.

Easy to use!
Love that you can just plug it into any computer without having to download a driver. I have downsized the amount of paperwork in my file cabinet considerably by using this scanner. It was so easy to use, basically just plug it in and start scanning. I also like that no matter what way you scan the document, the scanner rotates it so that the writing is right side up ...

Nice little scanner!
This works perfectly for my needs, it is compact and works easily for scanning in a few pieces of paper per day. It arrived quickly.
