I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner !
This light weight, Commercial XL Upright vacuum cleaner does a great job of vacuuming my carpet without hurting my back like other brands have in the past.

Excellent vacuum
I had an XL for 26 years. One of the wheels broke off, and couldn't find a new base plate for it. Figured 26 years was pretty darn good service life, so I bought a new Commercial XL. I have to say this new one is designed and built better than the old one. Big plus is, it uses the same rollers, belts and bags as the old one, and I have a few spares from the old machi...

Best bang for your money in a vacuum.
Great Vacuum at a reasonable price. Our old one gave out after 18 years of service. Wanted to purchase another Oreck. This commercial version is the same as ours. So hopefully it will last another 18 years. It is lightweight and extremely easy to use. This thing has super suction power.

Pain to clean brush spindle
Product "sweeping" Spindle clogs easily and often with carpet fibers, pet hair, string, etc. and COMPLETE disassembly is required to clean !!! This will likely be a weekly job and requires specialized ( Torx ) wrench that's NOT provided...

commercial XL upright
I have one that I have used for 25 years. 1 tune up and 1 belt replaced. I do not know how well the new one will work.

So far, So good!!
I have not used very much, so a 5-star rating is still very possible. Lightweight, long cord and nice solid unit. Bags are large as well. Classic no nonsense design and engineering.

Works great on carpet ans wood floors. Construction is not as good as my 16 year old unit. The cord is much better, heavier in construction. Its was almost together when we got it
