Faulty from manufacturer but you can make them work.
These would be excellent boxes if the manufacturer ever exercised any quality control. They should check the cuts and the fit some day. The mailers usually won't lock on one side, as they should, because the positioning is off. They work fine once you tape down the inner flap... but that shouldn't even be necessary.
