HP Products should be used in HP MFPs
There is no substitute for HP products used in an HP MFP. They cost more, but you get what you pay for. They work like they are supposed to and deliver high quality results.

Reliably excellent.
I only use the genuine HP laser jet toner cartridges for my printer, and have had no problems since doing this. I have had unfortunate experiences with refilled or "equivalent" cartridges.

Pricey but best option
I’ve tried several different remanufactured toner cartridges, but none of them have the quality of HP. If you have the time and patience to go through toners, remanufactured is the way to go. I end up throwing away about half of the remanufactured toner cartridges because they are faulty to begin.
