We suggest discontinue using your bottle of Dawn. Luckily, you can remove the scent by simply soaking your towels and dish cloths in hot water and adding a bit of distilled white vinegar added to it. We wouldn't expect the scent of Dawn to last on dishes; however, if the soap isn't completely rinsed off or if the dishes have become porous, it is possible. To remove the scent, we recommend soaking the dishes in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added to it.  In the meantime, we want to share that we offer many other scents, including an unscented version called Dawn Free & Clear.
