Didn't work with HDMI projector
Tried using with HDMI on projector but didn't pass through video or audio. Returned unit

It did not work well for me
this adapter did not work very well with my iphone 7 to HDMI to the TV.. if the connection was tight but it took some wiggling around a bit to get a picture and sound, but you couldn't breathe on the connection or the picture on the tv and sound were gone. the picture and sound were intermittent, I used the same HDMI cable from my laptop to the TV and no problems at all...

It has worked great. The first one got frayed at the front and had to be replaced. It allows me to watch my grandchildren's ballgames on the big screen.

Great little gadget
Even though I hooked up my old computer with a monitor using HDMI I couldn't get it to work. I went to Staples where I was introduced to Lighting Connector for my iPhone. Technician demonstrated how it worked. I was skeptical since my monitor is also outdated. The connection was easy to make. I was very pleased to see it worked! I now have a new devise in my toolbox.

Easy to use just doesn’t work with all apps
I bought this to mirror my iphone on a monitor so I can watch movies/tv more easily than on my handset. It’s easy to use and works great except it’s good to know that not all apps support these adapters. Prime Netflix and HBO definitely do not but YouTube is one that works with no problem.

Works great to connect my IPhone 12 to my 14 year old Sony Bravia XBR and see my photos on the big screen and hear the video sound over my Definitive speakers and Velodyne subwoofer.

It solved the problem!
I thought I needed a new hdmi cord but the staples associate suggested I try just replacing the lightning adapter first and it solved the problem!
