Great for nightstand
There is velcro on the back of this contraption. It didn't make sense until I tried to get a cord OUT of the cable station. then I realized that if you take the rubber piece off the nightstand and bend it, the wire comes right out. This is also how to put wires in. It is so helpful on my nighstand. I don't know why you would need to write on it, but it has that ability.

Not user friendly
So I had one of my employees set this up in my office and it was a life changer. However, if I needed to remove a cable, it was really difficult and putting a cable in there is a 5 minute job. Super awesome if you intend on leaving your cables there until the apocalypse, but if you every want to move around cables, have fun!

Works Well
Bought this to keep the multiple cables on my desk organized. Works great for what I needed. Also has a double sided adhesive pad if you want to mount it vertically.

Not as practical as I thought it would be
It's not easy to remove cables and use them and out them back. Kinda regret this one but it's ok... 3/5

Difficult to change cables after attaching to surf
Due the fact that the openings are closed when flat and the device is attached to the surface you cannot remove or add cables without detaching the device from the surface

Works great!
Needed a low profile cable holder for our bedroom and this was just what was needed. Easy to install and very small footprint so it isn’t obtrusive with your decor.

Nice cable organizer!
With all of us stuck in homes or home/offices....this cable organizer keeps things neater for a low price.....without it my desktop would look like a rat's nest! (Now it looks like an organized rat's nest!)

Holds cables well, too well.
This cable/cord management thing works well in holding the cables in place. However, it seems to be a semi-permanent device as the shape is not made to allow removal of the cables if needed.

In this day of multiple charging cables and slim desk space. This helps keep cables handy, but out of the way. I have it on the side of my desk to keep multiple cables handy.
