Good size a bit lightweight
This was the perfect size to line a trash can I use for dry organic waste but a little bit lighter weight than I would have liked. Works okay for one trip to the organics can once per week.

Very Thin
The description heading states 40 lb. but once you get into the product details you find they are only 20 lb. These are very flimsy bags and I can't see them being able to hold even 20 lbs.

Kraft paper bag
The bag is not strong and easily tears. More importantly the packaging around the 500 bags was not sufficient or sturdy enough for delivery. The UPS driver was very gracious and held all the bags together in his arm as the wrapping did not hold. Had the delivery occurred 1/2 hour later all the bags would have been destroyed in the rain.
