Great for QB invoices
I wish it had been easier to find the right one for QuickBooks invoices, but most reviews don't mention that. I have purchased these envelopes in other sizes but they were check envelopes. These are the ones that are the correct size for QuickBooks invoices. Thank goodness I found them.

Will not order again
The checks do not line up in the windows correctly (i.e - the Pay to the Order of line appears in the top window, the address appears in the lower window as does the Memo line.

Disappointing Quality
Our company has reordered these envelopes many times, with no issues in the past. I noticed that the last 2 boxes were manufactured in the UAE while the one previous to that were from Germany. We have used these for years. Our most recent box I noticed the envelopes were different. These are TERRIBLE! They are crooked and cut horribly and the glue strip hardly sticks and doesn't line up at all. I don't think you can even call these self sealing! You can try but they don't stay shut. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD ONES.

Used to be Good, Now Pretty Terrible
I've ordered these envelopes twice, once in 2023 and again in 2024. The box from 2023 would get 5 stars: envelopes were easy to use, sealed properly, in short, they did their job. Horrible Envelopes!
I have purchased these envelopes for years to do monthly invoicing for a utility company and have alwasy loved them. For some reason Staples changed them and now the self adhesive does not line up to close the envelope so I have had to use a glue stick to close the them. Do Not Buy These!

Terrible
Many of the envelopes didn't have glue on them. They don't seal very well at all. When I reordered self-sealing envelopes, I thought we were going to be getting the ones we had previously. Those were much better. These envelopes stink. I won't be ordering these again.

Glue all over
Over half of the envelope have glue from the window onto the back of the envelope, so they are not easily openable, the fact we did not figure out until after we had put stamps on them

These envelopes are total garbage, I DID NOT receive the same envelopes that I had gotten in the past, as I got into the box more than half of them did not seal and needed to be taped also many of the envelopes were glues shut in the corners so that I could not put a check in them

POOR SEALING MECHANISM
These envelopes seal well after the flap can be raised, but the flap is often stuck or crumpled. It is very frustrating on how much time it takes to prepare these envelopes for mailing due to this flap problem. I would not buy these again.

Price up but Item quality down
The quality of this envelope has declined in recent months. I just used the last of the ones I purchased in 2024 and ordered 2 more boxes. I will be returning one of them as I found most of them with very little sealant and most of them crumpled up. It was hard to put mail in the envelopes as well. Terrible product!
I did not get to open and use these envelopes until the return period was up. I will not be able to use the majority of them. The clear windows are dried and flake off and the folding seal on the back does not fully unfold so it has terrible wrinkles when you try to seal the envelope. Poor Quality and Fit for Accounting Software
The window on these envelopes is too far down, and there's no way to align our checks with the windows so you can see the address but can't see the dollar amount. Many envelopes were stuck together or stuck partway closed, so it was hard to get checks into them anyway. Will not purchase again.

The new design on these is awful. I started buying the Staples brand a few years ago because they were great quality and affordable. My last box was a totally new design and it's terrible! The self-seal is more like a post-it note. You can easily reopen and reseal it with no issue. (Not a feature you want for mailing checks.) And half the envelopes were stuck together. ...

Envelopes come pre sealed
The envelopes were already stuck together and we had to un-seal them and then fill and reseal. Then the don't stick properly.

Poor Quality Envelops
The tax envelops are stuck together and rip when you separate them. After separated the inside window film is stuck to the inside of the envelopes and forms will not slide in. When you unstick the film, a layer of the safely paper remains and blocks the address of the recipient.
