No Hooks? No Loop? Velcro Fastner?!?!? Bad!
The plastic envelopes appear sturdy and functional, so all is good on that front. However, the product I received did not have sturdy hook and loop closure -- it had a velcro closure (no hook and loop) that started to fail within the first weeks of use. Major disappointment. Would not recommend.

It came in a large box by itself with plastic pillows to hold it in place. Ridiculous shipping.

Great way to protect papers or pictures!
These are very functional to protect and color code papers and/or pictures. So far I like the hook & loop (velcro to me) closures, I hope they hold up.

These are terrific
Expandable plastic envelopes make excellent (waterproof) containers for important papers. The velcro closures are tight and open and close with ease. The different colors provide an easy way to tell the subjects filed in them. Great product!

I was very pleased with my plastic envelopes, but the closure was not what I expected. In the description, they are called "plastic envelopes with hook & loop closure," which I now understand was accurate, but when I first read it, I was expecting an elastic loop which went over a button. JAM Plastic Envelopes
I really like these envelopes. I am trying to keep our “paper” organized, eg. travel documents, medical directives, appliance warranties. I use these envelopes to organize and feel much better about “filing" my important papers as opposed to “piling” them.
