I needed an HDMI cord for a presentqtin ad it did its job. I had an 8 foot cable but in retrospect I should have bought one with a longer cable since the projector was further away from the podium than I expected.

Appears to work perfectly and inserts nicely. A previously purchased, non-Apple product did not insert smoothly and the HDMI did not work properly on it. Definitely get the Apple product and spend the bucks to get it right.

No reason to buy this from Staples
Our local Staples closed about a year ago, so if we want anything from Staples, we have to either buy online or travel out of town. We do get free shipping when ordering online. However, because there is no Staples competition in our community, the online prices for Items at Staples can be ridiculously expensive. This item is an example.

Apple adapter plug HDMI to IPad Pro
Works well to project my iPad screen to TV. Good for PowerPoint presentations. Charging through adapter only works with Apple wire and charger. Expensive Apple adapter but it works.
