Tru Red toner
The black is a bit light but is fine for most documents. Good deal for the price.

The first one worked. The 2nd one - not as well
We ordered one as a test and it worked very well. We ordered a replacement when that one ran out and at first it streaked and caused the pages to not feed well through the printer. If you have this printer you know it has a tendency to feed 2 sheets and jam up. This started jamming. Cleaned up the rollers and since then no more streaking and no more jamming. So ...

good product - just a bit expensive
the product works just as good as the original HP product. the pricing of the product is starting to get a bit expensive though for a remanufactured product. Just glad that I only have to buy once a year.

toner cartridge
must remove cartridge and wipe the bottom up it and the printer inside to remove the black that prints on the top of the paper. this is an extra job which should not be needed. never had to do that with the other cartridges.

Works great!
After having bad experiences with other remanufactured toner cartridges I was pretty skeptical but I gave it a try since this is really the only option now (because HP has stopped making these). I’m happy to report that it has worked just as well as a new one. No shadowing or any of the problems that I’ve had with other remanufactured cartridges.

Terrible product
When first installed it left a large black smear down the right side of the paper making the page unreadable.. It cleared up after about 50 sheets.. after a ream of paper it happened again only worse than the first time... this is a terrible product!

Remanufactured Toner Cartridge
Set up was familiar and it performs perfectly. The one previous of the same Staples item was a good long time worker for the use that I expect.

Good to have this option!
So far this reconditioned cartridge works just like new - and since they no longer make new ones I was glad to find it available.
