Recording problems.
The unit records its own “grinding, rubbing” noises on the cassette tape. I want to exchange it for another unit, but it arrived without any paperwork, just the recorder in a bag. I hope I’m not stuck with this unit.

Throw Back Recorder

just what i was looking for
Works great. It has a line output to feed into my home entertainment system . it runs on batteries or line voltage via a wall wart . It is compact and simple to use

Staples and a Poor product
The tape recorder was obviously cheaply made. It did not record well; sound was scratchy and almost inaudible. The product does not deserve to be advertised as a bonifide recorder. I regret not having paid attention to other reviews.

It allows me to play
It allows me to play some commercial tapes and make my own. It has a reasonably good quality for spoken sounds. The price is not bad.
