Cheaper 564XL
The new version of the 564XL is lower cost, but has lower capacity. I strongly dislike less capacity and wish the old cartridge was still available. Too bad the name was not changed from 564XL to 564ML. This is a good example of less is less.

Leaky cartridge
The black cartridge leaked some black ink in the printer and fried it! Don’t expect new cartridges to leak!

Discovering the cartridge is leaking has to be awful. I'm sorry about what happened to you.
While leaking is more common with refills, it can also happen with a damaged or defective cartridge. There is a vent near the cartridge label that will normally open when the tab is pulled completely loose, and the outer plastic covering is removed from around the cartridge. That vent has to be open to prevent the cartridge from leaking. On defective and remanufactured cartridges, you might have to clear the vent with a straight pin to keep it from leaking
If your experience appears to be due to a defective cartridge, please check with the seller about your options.

Fast delivery, quality products
I can always rely on receiving my ink order very quickly. If you are like me, you don’t realize you need ink until it is almost out and I know when I order directly from HP, it will arrive before I actually run out.

HP 564 color and black cartridges
I was using the starter pack and was not impressed on how many copies it made. I did use it to print student test and lab submissions which on many, not all occasions, were pictures and not scanned PDFs. Not all students have scanner printers. I did need another tri-color package so I ordered it and another double black 564. I am hoping I get my rewards? Ill be rec...

Not what they used to be!
I put these new cartridges in my scanner/printer,checked the ink levels, and they didn't even register as being full! They're brand new out of the box! In general, I've noticed that the cartridges seem to be running out of ink faster than they used to. Is HP skimping on the ink?
